Hansen is a brigadier general and Chief of Staff of the Wisconsin Air National Guard. ==Career== In 1987, Hansen began training at Mather Air Force Base.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=BRIGADIER GENERAL MURRAY A. HANSEN )〕 The following year, he started undergoing B-52G training at Castle Air Force Base. From 1989 to 1992, he was assigned to the 2d Bombardment Wing. During this time, Hansen was deployed to serve in the Gulf War. After a separation from the military from 1993 to 1996, Hansen studied electronic warfared with the 28th Bomb Wing and B1-B training at Dyess Air Force Base. He was assigned to the 116th Air Control Wing in 1996. With the exception of undergoing further training at Tyndall Air Force Base in 2002, he remained with the 116th until 2005 and returned to it in 2007. Hansen began serving various roles with the Wisconsin Air National Guard in 2015. Awards Hansen has received include the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Aerial Achievement Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, the Organizational Excellence Award, the Combat Readiness Medal, the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Air Force Overseas Short Tour Service Ribbon, the Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon, the Air Force Longevity Service Award, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, the Air Force Training Ribbon, the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia) and the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait).
